Important notification – Samsung Galaxy Note 7
Following issues Samsung has identified with its Galaxy Note 7 mobile phone, the UK Civil Aviation Authority advises airline passengers intending to travel with this phone to ensure it remains switched off for the duration of the flight.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone devices will be banned from all British Airways operated flights from 23:59 (local time wherever you are in the world) on the evening of Tuesday 25 October.
This is following the official recall of Samsung Galaxy Note7 phones and an increasing number of countries banning the devices from air transportation.
Following the official recall by Samsung and the ban on carriage of the device by Aviation Authorities in several countries, Air Mauritius has decided to ban the carriage of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on all its flights.
Passengers will therefore not be allowed to carry the device in their checked baggage or carry-on baggage.
Air Mauritius regrets all inconveniences caused.
Civil aviation authorities in the Emirates have banned the use of Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 on all its national carriers. "The General Civil Aviation Authority has banned operating, charging and carrying in bags the Samsung Note 7 on board national carriers' flights," it said in a statement carried by the official WAM news agency. Dubai's Emirates Airline, the largest Middle East carrier, said it will comply "immediately" with the instruction from civil aviation.
(Seychelles News Agency) - The Seychelles national carrier, Air Seychelles, is banning all Galaxy Note7 smartphones onboard all its aircraft effective immediately, the company announced in a press statement on Monday.
"Air Seychelles is enforcing a total ban on these devices on board its aircraft, both Twin Otter and Airbus fleet, as some phones have been installed with faulty lithium batteries, which present a risk of combustion and fire," the airline said.
