Kings Camp, Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Kings Camp reflects the charm and romance of the colonial past in a pristine corner of unspoilt Africa. Located on an open savanna scattered with Acacia trees in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, with a waterhole right in front of the camp.

Traditional South African cuisine is served in the boma, when a bush braai isn’t being prepared. Camp facilities include a lounge and dining room area, a bar, and pool terrace, and a game-viewing platform overlooking the waterhole, where you can watch a wide variety of wildlife, day and night.

Guests are accommodated in eleven generously-sized colonial suites under thatch with a large plunge pool on a private verandah overlooking the bush. Each air-conditioned suite is luxuriously equipped with rich dark woods, a Victorian ball-and-claw bath, indoor and outdoor double shower and a fully stocked mini-bar. Kings Camp welcomes children over six years old.

The opulent and private four bedroom Waterbuck Villa is the perfect choice for a family or group of close friends and comes with a private chef, and a dedicated safari guide and tracker.
