A sister lodge to Leopard Hills and King’s Camp [Vik, put links from here to these?], it’s a comfortable, quality lodge, set amongst boulders and age-old Tamboti trees, with very accommodating staff. It offers a memorable safari adventure for families and couples, with two game drives a day to spot the ‘Big 5’ led by a qualified ranger and tracker.
Accommodation is in ten large and secluded glass fronted suites with uninterrupted views of the African bush from the deck complete with private plunge pool. Each comes with air-conditioning, fans and a fireplace, indoor and outdoor showers, a private lounge and a complimentary minibar.
The family friendly Little Madikwe Hills has a massive two bedroom suite, and two Luxury Suites accommodating up to 8 guests and can be reserved for exclusive use. In addition to the facilities above, this camp has a verandah and dining room, a private kitchen with a personal chef and a private game drive vehicle and game ranger for total flexibility as well as a personal butler/child minder and an entertainment centre with satellite television and DVD and CD collection and children’s games and a small library.
The main lodge has a lounge, dining room and bar and wine cellar stocked with local wines and a terraced viewing deck, with umbrellas for shade, overlooking the waterhole and a traditional Boma.
