Bespoke Luxury Holidays in the Indian Ocean & South Africa
We are an independent prestige luxury tour operator who has been arranging bespoke, luxurious and memorable holidays since 1998. The business started when Susie Freeman fell in love with Mauritius and wanted to make it affordable to her friends. She arranged a charity ball with Mauritius as the prize and has never looked back. Susie is now widely recognised as the UK’s leading Mauritius holiday expert and her company, Susie Freeman Travel has grown to be one of the best-known tour operators in the Indian Ocean. She now offers bespoke holidays to Mauritius, The Seychelles, Southern Africa and the Maldives, destinations she believes will realise your holiday dreams.
Seychelles opens up to the world
The destination of the Indian Ocean island has declared that tourists from all over the world would be welcomed,
irrespective of their vaccination status, as of 25 March 2021. For the time being,
visitors from South Africa will not be allowed to reach Seychelles until further inspection.

I have always been in the business of caring for people. Having started my working life as a nurse, everything that I have ever done has been in the pursuit of making sure the needs of each individual is expertly attended to. Susie Freeman Travel came about quite by accident, when I discovered that my passion for helping others and my love for Mauritius could combine to create a luxury holiday travel business and, over twenty years later, I have helped thousands of couples and families experience the very best that Mauritius, Maldives, the Seychelles and South Africa has to offer.
As an independent luxury tour operator, we don’t believe in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to holidays. All our clients are VIPS, and nothing is too much trouble. We only recommend places that we know well and visit regularly and hotels, luxury villas and safari lodges if we’ve stayed, inspected them thoroughly and got to know the management. Susie Freeman Travel is a name that opens doors, and our clients are more likely to get upgraded in hotels and secure that table at a coveted restaurant.
