Constance Lemuria
Seychelles
An easy-going island retreat for couples and families with powdery beaches and idyllic restaurants.
The hotel
A 15-minute plane hop from Mahé to Praslin, Constance Lemuria is a relaxed island retreat perched between two stretches of soft white sand: “petite” Anse Kerlan has gin-clear water perfect for bathers while its larger sister “grande” Anse Kerlan, is wild and unprotected, the place to spot hatchling turtles.
Built into Praslin’s granite hillside, the resort is a peaceful, grown-up sort of place that welcomes families as readily as couples. Spacious suites and villas are spread across 101 hectares of lush gardens dotted with palm trees. Junior Suites are just steps from the shore, while the sprawling two- and three-bedroom villas come with outdoor massage pavilions and private beaches.
There’s a kids’ club for ages 4-11 and babysitting on request, an 18-hole golf course, two tennis courts, kayaks, windsurfs and more. Among the four restaurants is The Nest, picture-perfect and set high on the rock peninsula between the two Anse Kerlan beaches, offering Creole classics and incredible views.
