Ant’s Nest & Ant’s Hill, Safari Lodge Waterberg
Ant's Nest & Ant's Hill are two private bush homes situated in the malaria-free Waterberg region of South Africa. Approximately 3 hours north of Johannesburg.
These two bush homes are on a privately owned reserve and can offer guests game viewing activities which include game drives, game walks and fantastic horse riding. They can cater for all levels of riders and accept kids of all ages. This is a wonderful destination for couples, honeymooners, families or just good friends travelling together.
‘We have just had the most incredible week at Ant's Nest, organised by Susie Freeman Travel UK. We were a party of 5 including Granny aged 88 down to 15-year-old son and 11-year daughter. We all had a ball, and there were so many highlights from riding with the giraffes and zebras to sundowners with the rhinos. The staff were absolutely delightful and made us feel as if we were part of the family. They even managed to grant Granny’s wish of a gentle horse ride, I think she broke the age record walking past wildebeest and rhino!
Our two suites were stunning and the beds were blissfully comfortable. Not to forget the absolutely delicious food, which was very difficult to resist! We will definitely be going back!’
