An intimate charming and peaceful boutique hotel with a contemporary island chic vibe.

The hotel

This intimate charming boutique hotel with only 16 rooms is located on the less developed northeast coast of Mauritius.  A simple, cosy, peaceful but stylish property, with a contemporary island chic vibe. Facilities include two small palm-fringed pools, a private beach area, a relaxed beach restaurant for lunches and their main restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner. With two restaurants serving à la carte refined international and Mauritian cuisine, this is a favourite east coast lunch and dinner spot for non-residents.  Local’s queue to book to come and eat here in the evenings. Hotel guests can select their own catch of the day from the fishermen on the beach. A once-weekly seafood buffet (for a supplement) – featuring lobster, grilled fresh catch of the day and flamed tiger prawns – is very popular.

Complimentary activities include kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. There is a small Spa offering treatments.

La Maison d’Été has the feel of a ‘couples hotel’, but children are welcome, and under-threes stay free.
