THE RESORT WITH BE CLOSED FOR AN EXCITING REDESIGN BETWEEN JUNE AND OCTOBER 2023
It’s easy to see why families return to Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, on the southwestern tip of Mauritius. With over three miles of white sandy beach and a championship golf course sheltered by Le Morne Brabant mountain, everyone is kept happy here.
There are two freshwater pools, plus tennis, water skiing, laser sailing and scuba diving available. The kids’ club, for ages 3-11, offers a bouncy castle and fishing in the lagoon, and there’s a teens’ club open during high season.
Sea or garden-facing rooms are in thatched, low-rise buildings while the newer Ocean Beachfront Family suites have extra space and their own beach.
The dine around concept here is a favourite, covering eight restaurants including those at sister hotel Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, a five-minute shuttle ride across the marina. At Paradis, the beachfront Le Blue Marlin specialises in seafood, while La Ravanne is a genuine Mauritian experience, offering local Creole cooking under candlelit thatched gazebos in the sand.
