The hotel

The hotel offers a very peaceful environment, with ultra-private accommodation set in magnificent manicured botanical gardens meandering through the property. Accommodation is arranged in a mixture of pavilions and luxury villas, with sunken baths – most of them with their own private pool. The spacious rooms are decorated in calm, neutral tones with four-poster beds, vaulted ceilings, and marble bathrooms with sunken baths preserved from the days of the French in the 18th century. There are two Royal Villas and one Presidential Villa, all with private pools.

A honeymooner’s haven, as it offers everything you need for a romantic island break. At sunset you can enjoy a spectacular sunset view from their bar. Dinner is a nightly affair at their open-sided thatched restaurant, with views of the sparkling ocean and twinkling lights from the capital Port Louis. A private dining experience can also be arranged in their historic gunpowder ruin. Guests enjoy the beach and the hotels’ ornate infinity pool and white gloved beach boys delivering tempting morsels to your lounger. A wide range of other activities includes tennis wind surfing, water skiing, sailing, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing. Golf is available a short distance from the resort, and there is a fully equipped gym.
