LUX* LE MORNE

Flanked by Le Morne mountain on one side and miles of white sandy beaches on the other, this informal hotel is sympathetically built, with thatched roofs and tropical colours, to match the landscape. This excellent five-star hotel is located on the peaceful Le Morne Peninsula on the southwest tip of Mauritius and caters for both couples and families.

The beach has a good section for sea swimming, and there are four swimming pools. Activities here include snorkelling, wakeboarding, diving, tennis, yoga, horse riding and hiking. Le Morne is the best location on the island to learn kitesurfing, and LUX* Le Morne has its own on-site school and resident expert.
