Mauritius is a natural haven for watersports of every kind, from sailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, water skiing, kite surfing, Scuba diving and deep-sea fishing. Visitors also enjoy catamaran excursions and speed boat trips around the coastline and to the remote neighboring uninhabited Islands where whales, dolphins and turtles can be sighted.

A PLAYGROUND FOR ADVENTURERS
On land there are numerous fast surface floodlit tennis, Padel courts and fitness facilities with friendly and professional staff to help you improve or master your sporting skills. Several hotels have their own 18-hole championship golf courses, to suit every level of golf skill. Experienced or not, Mauritius is the ideal place to start, practice or perfect your chosen sport. For those looking for total relaxation you can try out the hotel spas which offer world class products and treatments. For horse enthusiasts riding on the beach at sunrise is a must and horse racing is a poplar weekend activity at The Mauritius Turf Club. This the oldest horse-racing club in the Southern Hemisphere and the second oldest in the world. And for children - creche facilities and Children’s Clubs which offer wonderful educational and fun activities.

Note: All water-based sports are offered on a complimentary basis at most of the Mauritian hotels – except for deep sea fishing and scuba diving which are chargeable extras. Tennis and fitness facilities are all included in the hotel packages. And many of the hotel golf course offer complimentary green fees.

Outside the hotels Mauritius has so much to offer. From activities enjoyed by adrenaline junkies such as Sky diving, zip lining and Quad biking to beautiful nature walks and animal parks for families.
